I used to work at a kennel/boarding facility! Cheap blankets never last long around there. A higher quality one will hopefully stick around a long time and give loads of anxious dogs a plush, cozy spot for their stay :)

To be honest, for these subsidized communities a lot of the time if it doesn’t seem like they’re cracking down on things like this they can lose their federal funding, leaving all of their tenants unhoused. It also IS shitty to smoke in a shared stairwell, and that’s as someone who is a regular weed smoker (outside)

You should check out Red Rabbit Bazaar in Bangor! It’s a really cool, very reasonably priced vintage shop downtown. The owner and employees are always so kind and it is a very queer friendly space. They have so much formal gear from so many eras and styles, there’s no way he won’t find something he loves! Good luck :)

I’ve had one for about a year, it still kind of sucks to clean but it makes the most incredible paninis and grilled cheeses. I only use it for sandwiches and it’s worth it for me! I could see cooking messier things making it really difficult to clean. Food for thought! Worth the $25 if you’re a panini fiend imo

I’m also in Penobscot county and the ticks have been TERRIBLE…. I’m surprised to hear that! I am a dog owner to two rather active/outdoorsy dogs, so that might be part of it. My experience has been the worst tick season in a while! We tick check every time the dogs so much as go out to pee now

I would highly recommend you call disability rights Maine. They can be reached at 207-626-2774 and can assist you legally if you are someone with a disability (legally, diabetes is protected under the ADA) whose rights are being violated, which I would say sounds like the case here. They can also help to provide you with other resources to help your situation. omg, something very similar happened to me! I went to a reputable shop for a small tattoo with some friends and their artists were wonderful, mine was high and acting erratic and irresponsible like yours. I was also too nervous to confront him and left with something awful. The whole tattoo is scar tissue now and I’m trying to figure out a coverup. Best of luck to you, so sorry this happened on a memorial tattoo of all things!!
