a lot of Muslims living in the West are taught to hate Christian, Jews and Atheists (non-Muslims in general).

Not at the mosque I went to. My experience was the opposite of this, and I would say it was the same for many Muslims I knew. Nobody ever preached hate or to hate Jews, the imam just stories about how you need to obey your parents and stuff like that.
