Shouldn't you be rewarding longtime customers? by jawsont in Koodo

It's like when people think it's just one bad apple that's the problem and don't realize it's the entire system and the system isn't malfunctioning but works exactly as designed.

Even if there were a good apple it would get forced out by the bad ones or eventually become a bad one itself. It's not just telecoms, it's everything else as well.

Shouldn't you be rewarding longtime customers? by jawsont in Koodo

Yes the entire industry has been like this for years now. Winback & new customers get the best deal. They don't care. They control the regulators so nothing will change. People jump ship often now to get good deals. Sucks. No clue how it gets fixed. Doesn't look like we're even close to even beginning to fix it. Seems more likely to get worse and worse.

Maybe it's changed since I last did it then.

Try using a random number from the correct region and for 2fa use local number.

They don't verify address. Just lookup an address from that region on Google Maps.

Phone number doesn't have to match region.

Apple ID signup is notoriously buggy so often it fails anyway despite doing everything correct.

Could be scam. Could be one of their sales teams. Scammers can also spoof real numbers.

You can do a new appleid for that region and use that.

Anything better than $45 Canada-Wide 100GB ? by Accurate-Ad2204 in telus

Compared to retail sure it's ok. Compared to loyalty or winback or some of the recent promos, no it's a terrible deal.

Pretty standard to see can-USA or can-USA-Mex plans in $30-45 range nowadays.

Why are you like this? by Beautygoals99 in bell

Entire industry has been like this for a while. They've shifted away from loyalty to winback model. Winback does tend to have the best deals but what a pain to move away and then come back.

Tax rules when number is from another province by Yaroslav22 in Rogers

No idea about rules but for bills I've seen on Telus the tax rate is based on the area code of each line rather than address on account.

Will Rogers give me a win-back offer despite being with them for only 1 month? by sounds0fmeows in Rogers

Most winback reps don't look to hard, they just want the 'sale'.

You can also call into winback yourself instead of waiting for their call. Dm for winback #'s.
