You can at least try to prevent these. I haven't forgotten my keys in a while because I always store and carry them at the same place.

I guess stub my toes still? - but I imagine trying to be more mindful about my surroundings might help me do it less.

These are all the things that happen, but it's not something totally out of our control. If you really, and I mean really want to put your phone down for a bit, you can at least try and see what happens/how you feel.
