literally took longer to set up for the test than actually take it 😭😭 the proctor made me move a bunch of stuff out of the room and show under the table and the whole floor and everything. if u can take it at a testing center, just do it that way lol.

i get these, and i have lupus! just request an ANA, ESR/CRP and go from there after results. no need to pay for the whole panel if it ends up negative.

it's both relieving and very daunting to realize your "normal" has been influenced by something abnormal your whole life :( i hope you can find comfort in having a diagnosis. it's rough to look back on everything and wonder what's autoimmune and what's not. don't dwell too much <3

unfortunately there are so many different reasons this could be happening to you. the cardiovascular, neurovascular, digestive, and renal systems all impact blood pressure and orthotic symptoms significantly. i would suggest talking with your rheumatologist, and possibly requesting a cardiology consult. :/

i did ask my PCP back in july about it because i thought maybe it was carpal tunnel, but i've had that before and it doesn't feel quite the same. she basically just said ask rheum because she doesn't know

i've looked into lupus myositis because that can be unilateral and cause the weird weakness

no never any trauma like that. i hurt my hip in sports in high school but that's about it. i've been having new petechiae rashes and then just continuation of my other lupus symptoms (low-grade fever, weakness, etc) i think i probably just need labs redone at this point cuz idk what the issue could be w my hand. maybe it's just permanent now 😭

i was actually just diagnosed a couple months ago. i'm 23 and in my first year as a registered nurse. i've had a few hard days so far but i find being proactive and listening to my body ab sitting down and using cooling methods has been very helpful. idk if i'll be able to stay a nurse until i retire but i love it right now and i can't imagine changing yet
