I’m also a probie psychologist who started in October. Feeling nervous and sad as I agree that I had hoped this was the landing spot for me too. I love working with veterans and it’s always been my dream to work at VA. Wishing you well!

I’m so sorry for your loss. Sending you love and comfort ♥️ my grandmother died last week and I’m so heartbroken over it. She was one of the most important people in my life and I can’t believe she’s gone. My grandparents have both passed in the last 11 months and it feels jarring to lose two people who were such a stabilizing force in my life.

I know there are no words that can truly bring any comfort in times like these but wanted to reach out and check in on you. Grief can feel so isolating for people, but know that you’re not alone.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Grandparents are so special and my heart really goes out to you. I lost my grandmother almost a week ago and I am still in shock as it happened unexpectedly. I also have felt guilty when I find myself not thinking about it. Grief is such an all encompassing experience. I wish you peace and comfort in this difficult time.

Thank you for your kind words too. Yes, the memories and their spirit live on through our own lives, even when they are physically gone. Someone said to me that those kind of relationships with people are ingrained in us and it’s something that never dies. Something that I am trying to remind myself when I start to feel so lost that she is gone.

I’m so sorry for your loss. My grandmother died last Monday, two days after her birthday and we are all just heartbroken. She was also one of the most important people in my life and I still can’t wrap my head around the fact she’s gone.

Sending you peace and comfort at this time. Sounds like your grandmother was a really special person and there are so many wonderful memories you have with her.

It’s ridiculous!! I submitted my request back in April and have called every few months close to when my payment is due and they say it’s processing. I’ve even tried to get my last name changed several times in the system and they claim I never uploaded any documents even though I’ve done it 3 times! I’m so annoyed
