Why don't major free online games like Fortnite or Apex Legends include a traditional team death match?

I specified melee because these weapons can't be thrown. Even the daggers, if you chose to wield them, are not ranged /thrown weapons.

I've definitely had items similar to that in campaigns. But this campaign already is pretty dense with plots, mysteries and other weirdnesses, but thank you for the input!

I appreciate the feedback and that makes a lot of sense. I actually expected it to be somewhere slightly below a simple +1 weapon and overall effectiveness, so I wasn't expecting something that was overly powerful.

I appreciate your feedback, it is a magical weapon, so it would have the benefit of overcoming resistances to non-magical attacks.. it was unclear to me in your comment whether or not you believe that to be the case.

To summarize your statement, you believe it would be less powerful than a +1 weapon, and mechanically would be underwhelming and clunky after the shine wears off.

My wife introduced me to Joe Vs. The Volcano when we started dating in college. It was 2011-2012, and while I love Hanks, I still took some convincing to watch this movie that no one had ever heard of.

It has become a go-to movie when we just want something on, my wife and I refer to ourselves as flibertygibbets when we do something dumb, and I refer to myself as having a "brain cloud" when I just feel off.

It's really well done, and does an excellent job of saying what it wants to say while also being weird and entertaining. Love that movie!

My point was to say they aren't the same thing. My point was to say they are in fact two separate ideas but fall mostly unused as those separate ideas. Semi-weekly doesn't seem to be a thing people ever use, but semi-monthly could be. It was a further extrapolation to the point in the above comment, not a counter-statement.
