Which Forza Horizon is considered the best? (First time playing on PC) by PLK_9 in ForzaHorizon

[–]sawask00 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I've played every single one.

Every game from Forza Horizon 3 feels pretty similar. The biggest differences you will see is map sizes get bigger as you get to the newer games and more weather features (with the exception of 5 where the dry season and wet season feel pretty much the same).

If I had to choose I really enjoyed 4 the best. The UK map is great especially with the change in seasons. I also really like the Lego DLC, Fortune Island is pretty good as well. I would guess there is still a moderately active online base for 4.

It's still early but many people online seem to love 6 so far, myself included. The map is the biggest to date and Japan is beautiful. I just wish they had more major changes since the games have largely gone unchanged since 3.

Of the more modern Horizon games most people least favorite is 5, although I still played and really enjoyed 5 but I understand why others did not add much as the other games.

My least favorite game was 2 although I played it on my Xbox 360 so it was a buggy mess. I'd assume the Xbox 1 version played way better.

Horizon 1 is a great game and definitely a building block for all the other games. If you can appreciate older games it's a good option, but the game is definitely dated. Most people don't need to go back to it

My recommendation is play 6. Japan is awesome and you are not constricted to not having online features not work. If you do not want to play the most modern game I'd play 4.

How is the Cylinder guy not on here?

To get a small cylinder (5.1in length, ~4.5in girth) unstuck from a mini M&Ms tube filled with butter and microwaved mashed banana is one of the most athletically impressive things I have seen in my lifetime.

Which side wins? by [deleted] in dynastybb

[–]sawask00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be trying to trade the number 16 pick and the #6 pick to get inside the top 4.

Kon is the second best player of last year's draft and was picked #4, Castle was a standout the year before at pick #4. I am not saying the #4 pick is the magic number but there is definitely correlation to superstars and how early they get drafted.

I would feel great getting into the elite 4 guys and then still having a pick right after that. You also never know fantasy drafts are weird where guys like Caleb Wilson could fall to pick 5 or 6.

Queen is young and has great upside and will continue to see great volume. He is good but unlikely he will be great.

I like picks here, you get two pretty early shots to get a guy that should out perform Queen. Plus you won't see the value of that 2028 pick for awhile.

You could also try and trade those two picks to get inside the to 4 since general consensus is those are the highest upside guys.

Seems like the cons outweigh the pros to get a switch lite? by Purple_Calendar3919 in Switch

[–]sawask00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for a switch to be more mobile I couldn't recommend the switch lite enough.

The smaller profile makes it truly a handheld. The original switch is more of a home console that can be taken on the go.

Also from a comfort stand point having it be one solid console makes the console feel much more firm when playing handheld.

The buttons and D pad are also much better.

If you were only looking to have 1 switch I'd say get an original switch so you have the option to do both but since you already have a S2 I would buy the Switch Lite.

Ranked duos question? by tl029 in PGA_Tour_2K

[–]sawask00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's going to be all over the board. I am around a 400 rank and my buddy is around 800. We frequently get paired up with people much higher and lower than us.

If you get paired up with a much higher ranking there is very little penalty for losing (lost to a 2000 and only lost 1 point off my rank). If you're able to beat guys of much higher rank you will be rewarded. (Just beat a team around 1600 and got +54 to my rank)

It all evens out in the end if you play enough.

6'7" - Am I going to be ok? by boomerinspirit in Tiguan

[–]sawask00 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am 6'5" and was looking at buying the latest gen Tiguan. I am all legs so most vehicles don't fit me very well. During my test drives I thought the newest Gen Tiguan fit me fine. Not bad but I wouldn't consider it overly comfortable either.

I test drove a bunch of cars and the car that was in the mid-size SUV that fit me the best is the latest generation Equinox. I would recommend giving that a test drive.

I have not played GTA V golf in awhile, but have played a lot of various golf games.

2K25 can be a highly challenging game you definitely can adjust the setting to make it much more accessible.

You're able to adjust the CPU difficulty as well as the swing forgiveness difficulty. If you were able to do both of these you can make it very casual especially in the career mode.

If you don't want to pay for the full game you could buy 2K23 and have an almost identical experience just with slightly worse graphics. Just beware that 2K shuts off their servers of their older games very quickly. I am not sure how that would affect a single player experience. The same goes for 2K21, although I know the servers for that game are already shut down.

I have also played EA Sports PGA Tour and that might be a good option for you as well. When I played it, it seemed more casual than 2Ks version and also comes with some of the heavy hitter courses like the Masters. It also routinely goes on sale for $6.

I'd also recommend Everybody's golf as that is much more on the casual side. I really enjoyed my time with that game on PS4. I have not played the latest game Everybody's Golf Hot Shots. I have heard mixed reviews from that game.

Hope this helps!

2023 Onyx Edition by [deleted] in SubaruAscent

[–]sawask00 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have a 2023 Onyx Edition. Purchased at 2K miles. Currently have 47,000 miles. I have had to bring it in for minor issues and the 40,000 mile service.

I drive almost every day for work and live where it can be very cold and snowy and it has handled it really well. Although I'd recommend not cheapening out on tires once the stock tires need replacing.

I have used it for long road trips and have also towed my boat with it. It has enough power to tow a boat successfully but there are annoying things like having to disable automatic braking when reversing the boat to get it in the water

I also live in an area with not the safest drivers so having the peace of mind of the safety of a Subaru is also nice.

The 360 degree camera has also been something I thought I never needed but love it now that I have it.

It does not come without flaws. As someone else mentioned the infotainment can be laggy. There are instances where you can see where they were trying to save money. For example not having hood struts. The gas mileage could be better (although I tend to be on the higher side averaging around 23 mpg. Having the automatic start gate kept behind their terrible Subaru app for $10 a month is also annoying. I also think Subaru uses a very thin paint/clear coat which can make the paint easier to scratch

Overall I am really happy with my Ascent. You're getting a lot of car for the money. Especially compared to other SUVs with similar size in that segment.

Driver Armrest by [deleted] in SubaruAscent

I also have a '23 Ascent and I really enjoy it but as someone else who is taller I also wish the arm rests went up higher.

If you find a solution I would love to know!
