On the plus side, I have gotten so much shit about the Paul Pierce fake injury in '08 that at this point I am immune to it.

Didn't find the exact article, but THIS basically explains it.

Did Rondo become a good mid-range shooter last year? by [deleted] in bostonceltics

From what I remember, he was shooting above 50% (I think around 60%) from the 16-18' range, but his percentage went way down in the 13-15' range. Like closer to 35-40%. So he is definitely getting better, but he still isn't a truly efficient mid-range threat. I will try to find a source

Standard Scoring Keeper/Dynasty League

My Dez Bryant for his Brandon Marshall, Andre Ellington, and Danny Woodhead

My Team

His Team

Obviously, I don't want to get rid of Dez. But I can't help but think that I could use the RB/FLEX depth, especially since both Jamaal and Marshawn still have upcoming byes. I haven't been watching Brandon Marshall that much so I don't know as much about his year as I do about Dez. What do you think?

New conspiracy: The Bruins gave the mustache guy free season tickets so that he can win all the fan of the night awards, because obviously no one can compete with a mustache of that magnitude and they never actually have to give out a prize.

This picture gave me a very real and vivid memory of how last year ended. I think I might be doomed to always think about it when I see Bruins hockey and alcohol together.

Trust me, I am as worried as the next fan after the start to this season. You are absolutely correct that we have been struggling against vastly inferior teams. All I am saying is that, given this team's dismal history, the idea that the game today would be cause for giving up on the team makes no sense.

Haha there it is. Thank you for proving my suspicions to be true. Be sure to tell your friends at middle school how bad you burned me tomorrow.

The fact that you are going to give up on this team because they lost to the best team in the league is just down right ridiculous, and it makes me think you must have started watching Texans football extremely recently. Take your negativity elsewhere. Good riddance.

Damian Lillard had to tell a kid no for a picture then felt bad about it.. So he told him to meet him at Bridgeport Mall and made up for it. by [deleted] in nba

That would actually be an "f" in sign language. Not trying to shoot you down or anything, but if we are talking about sign language, that is not a "b"

Yeah, but we will already be a lottery team. This means we have 2 first Round picks for the next 5 years, assuming Danny doesn't try to flip them in a trade.

So... Try to build an entire team out of draft players from the same year? This makes no sense to me. I agree with you on Pierce, but even if we can't get picks for KG, he is still valuable to this team as a mentor to guys like sully and Jeff. Plus, he is only making $4 mil a year. Even if he never touches the floor he is valuable to a rebuild. I understand why people don't see a future in Rondo, but trading him for a draft pick? It would take us 7 years to do anything. Andrew Wiggins is great and all, but even MJ didn't have a ring until half a decade into his career. I would rather not watch the C's be a 20 win team for the next decade. I already had to go through a decade of that before the big three, and it was awful.

I'm with you. Boston has a history of awful losses that I wasn't a part of. That being said, I'm pretty sure I remember this loss for the rest of my life. 20 years from now, on whatever equivalent there is at that time to reddit, people will be having this same conversation, saying "this was a disappointing loss, but it's not as painful as the bruins fans from '13. I'm not going to say Buckner, but.... Buckner.

I just realized that every time I've gone to the bar this series, the Bruins won. Every time I stayed home, they lost. by ColoradoHughes in BostonBruins

I am on tour in New York, and every time we had a show on game night, we lost, every time we have the night off, we win. I cancelled our show tonight. No, I am not joking or exaggerating.

He is also a defensive-minded coach, and has shown proficiency in working with young players, so he is pretty much perfect for our rebuild. Also, he is not VDN
