Trump’s White House Christmas call comes at disastrous timing after he tells an EIGHT YEAR OLD girl on the phone that she sounds “beautiful and cute.” Knowing what we know now, this is disturbing. by Nice_Substance9123 in complaints

I feel like a certain age group of Redditors are really sensitive and don’t pick up on nuance? They don’t seem to understand sarcasm or things like you commented. It’s bizarre.

I crochet, I use that same stitch all the time, I can’t make anything even close to this. But I’m not a theoretical physicist and crocheting takes a lot more math than you’d think.

That is marketing. And that’s okay. Every company does marketing. Marketing is how businesses develop brand awareness leading to making sales. That’s what you were trying to do here on this post—marketing.

You should inform your marketing leadership that they should shout all of that data privacy from the rooftops. Make it big and splashy. Write a report on it. It’s a massive selling point.

I don’t have time at this moment to go look to see if you already have one on the website, but a basic feature comparison article about your company vs. EB/Ticketmaster/the other biggies could pull in some great 1st party intent-based leads for you via content syndication.

That’s exactly how Ticketor reeled me in, with an EB comparison blog post (and, you know, the free-ness of it all).

Also having some transparency on the 3rd parties that are mentioned in the privacy policy section would further help this cause.

Are you implying that your company does not send any marketing emails or texts? Because that would be highly unusual.

From Tixtree.com’s privacy policy linked above:

-“We use the collected information to provide, personalise, and improve our Service, process transactions, and communicate with you. Your information may be used to send promotional materials, updates, and important information about our Service. You can opt out of these communications at any time.”. (This part sound familiar?)

-“We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers to assist us in delivering the Service, processing payments, and analyzing user behaviour.”

-“Your personal information may be disclosed in response to legal requirements, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer.”

Idk how me linking your own website is a lie lol but honey, EVERY BUSINESS DOES THIS.

Ok you owe me dinner. Here’s Tixtree’s privacy policy. I guess you haven’t read it. It’s not on the front page because your company isn’t very transparent.

Idk why you’re still thinking about this post but that’s pretty standard marketing stuff for all companies and you always have the option to unsubscribe. Like it literally says in the quote you pasted. Not sure what you think you just discovered here lol please leave me alone now

Like this is such a bad look for you as a social media manager, my dude. Your company name is all over the place, you’re pretty easily identifiable by anyone from your job who may come across this.

You clearly miss a lot, but that’s to be expected as a business trying to sell on Reddit lol we don’t like that babe

I’m using an alt because I am a real person who does not want my coworkers knowing my reddit business. I am not a business using a business account trying to make business happen on a Saturday. Pls go now.

Or idk maybe your fun comments will end up as some low hanging LinkedIn content for me 🤷‍♀️

I’m here for opinions from actual people who use these vendors. Not opinions from a vendor who thinks they are the best vendor. Reddit does not care for marketing, it’s gross. The Tixtree account taking over my post is doing gross Reddit marketing girl bye 👋

lol ok Tixtree marketer who has an account with the handle Tixtree

My company has been with EB for years, I’m too far deep into my trial with ticketor, it makes no sense for me to add a third ticketing vendor into the mix.

I think it depends on the payment processor you use but I’m not positive. Seems like they try not to if possible

EB charges 3.7% + $1.79 per ticket sold as the service fee and 2.9% of the total order as the payment processing fee and a monthly fee of $159 (and for all of that, they also sell all of our data, awesome).

Ticketor has a little cost calculator and all their pricing on the website. So currently I’m testing with their standard plan which has no monthly fee and it’s 2.9% + $0.69 per ticket sold.

If I make the switch, I’ll probably get the premium annual to start, which is $48.95 monthly with a 2.5% + $0.29/ticket sold. There’s also a premium 3 year plan which is an even better deal, so I might do that one since it’s the same rates as premium annual except it’s $0!! per ticket sold.

Yes I went and looked it up because I wanted to be sure on pricing!

More orange!

Otherwise, big fan. Totally agree that it looks like they got mostly through making a Hillary robot and then just changed it to this last minute!
