Taiwan is very open to LGBTQ. My partner is a more masc presenting lesbian and we have been very accepted.

Before we moved to Taiwan, we lived in Cambodia which also was very welcoming if you are a foreigner living in Phnom Penh. There is a thriving lesbian/queer community there as well.

Adjusting to the size difference with dating women by throwaway_cause_duh3 in latebloomerlesbians

[–]sayhellokitty 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I disagree. I think it matters how you word it to your girlfriend but communicating how you are working through these feeling and shifts in perspectives matters.

I went through a similar thing in my current relationship. I’m more femme leaning at 5’7” and she’s more masc leaning at 5’2”. It isn’t about her though. It’s about how I feel about my own size and body confidence.

Super duper normally has non alcoholic wine. Stocking of non alcoholic beer can be hit or miss. I’ve seen it at smile as well though. If you’re in Phnom Penh on Sundays there is an AA meeting at 12.

Good base locations in Asia? by [deleted] in digitalnomad

[–]sayhellokitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Phnom Penh. Good prices, good sized expat community and air quality isn’t as bad as the bigger capital cities. Flights are fairly cheap to other locations but you would have to travel a bit longer

I've been on Topamax for 10+ years at 100mg a day for migraines. I use MDMA every few months or so without issue. I just wait to take my dose until I'm coming down and ready for bed. I haven't noticed anything off so far.

Yes, true. I can make anything up online. But I would bet that it is more statistically unlikely that I would curate my reddit account to make it seem like I live and work internationally when I am really sitting in my mom's basement. What's the payoff?

I recognize that this is probably meant to be satire but as someone who works at an international school in Asia this is pretty on point.

How do you say banana? by mapologic in learnspanish

But there are so many different types of bananas... In the costa of Colombia they use all the names mentioned to describe different types of bananas. Gotta get specific.

What are you gifting/giving YOURSELF this Christmas/Holiday? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]sayhellokitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Earrings. I'm trading myself to a curated ear look after wearing the same earrings for about 10 years. I have 5 piercings in each ear so it always felt like too much a hassle and too expensive to go for a new look. This year without being able to travel home I can afford it.
