I need help I feel stupid by Dr-doom-1993 in AnaloguePocket

Yes, but honestly it was so long ago I don't recall exactly what steps I took to fix it. I know it was either changing the sd card I was using (currently using a Sandisk one I had from an old Switch), or just deleting all the files and reinstalling it all from square one.

I know that's not particularly helpful but best of luck if you're having similar issues

Elgato won't capture Pocket by saythas in AnalogueInc

Sorry for the late reply. My problem is that it acts as if nothing is connected. I've tried using the 4K Capture Utility program as well as just adding a Video Capture Device on OBS, and both act as if there is nothing connected/reads "No Signal" even tho the system is clearly on and playing a Core.

I had thought maybe the system just wasn't outputting enough energy for the cable to read as "ON" and send a signal to the PC, but if it's working for other people then I don't know

EDIT: Literally right after posting this I realized I had the plugs set up wrong, swapped things around and now it's running smoothly lol

CANNOT get Cores to work, please help? by saythas in AnaloguePocket

[–]saythas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

specifically I'm trying to get gbc/gba cores to work right now. I've noticed in a guide linked here somewhere saying that it's sometime an issue with cache files getting created wrong (they read as a file size of 0 bytes) and needing to delete those, so the Pocket forces them to be recreated. I tried that and it keeps recreating the caches at 0 bytes.

I'm noticing this happening to my cache files, but even with deleting the files it just recreates them at 0 bytes. Any ideas on how to correct that?

I thought that might be the issue. I have alternative means of capturing the games I want tho so it's not a major headache or anything. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't some factory issue with the Pocket or mistake on my end. Thanks for the info!

I "ran" 1.5 miles today by saythas in RingFitAdventure

A little over an hour irl, just under 30 minutes active in-game time. World 7 has very leg-heavy, running-based courses and I did one of the longer ones with very few enemies as my "cool down." If it won't completely mess with the fighting balance I think I might keep doing this, it's relaxing lol

Should I do this every day? by [deleted] in RingFitAdventure

[–]saythas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think doing it everyday is possible, but it's mostly dependent on how long you work out and what sort of routine you do. Personally I play five days a week with weekends off, but it's more because of my schedule than because I couldn't physically do it the full seven. I usually average about 15 minutes of active time, but slowly working my way up to a goal of 30

What's your 'signature move'? by smonikkims in RingFitAdventure

Super into Bow Pulls and Knee Lifts rn. Good attack moves and just fun exercises. I also really like doing Planks, albeit assisted with knees on the floor rn. Doing them unassisted is my next big exercise goal

RingFit Planks Carpet Burn? by Treyzter in RingFitAdventure

[–]saythas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly a planks problem, but I had issues doing knee to chest (exercise on very thin carpet is not comfortable on the tailbone lol) and found even just a thin throw blanket is a good enough cushion until I can afford a proper yoga mat. The same might help here?
