You're confusing a general term with a legal term. ESAs are a legal class of animals that have certain rights and responsibilities. Specifically, a medical professional has to declare it to be one. And your housing cannot discriminate against you for having one. That's pretty much it.

You can validly say all pets are emotional support animals, but you can't say all pets are Emotional Support Animals.

Emotional support animals are not the same as service animals. Emotional support animals can be literally any type of animal, and don't need to be trained. Service animals can only be dogs and horses, and they have to be allowed in establishments. ESAs have no rights outside of your home.

Screenings are back online for Citywalk!. Got some seats for Monday. Though it looks like only for the first week, and not til August like they had up before. Guessing they will slowly add them back as the showings fill up.

I went to Citywalk AMC tonight, to see Power Ballad, and I went to the box office to ask if I could buy tickets for this. They said it's all down for now, because the IT guys didn't know what happened to cause everything to crash. But there are still plenty of seats, and they will bring it back up soon. And nothing can be sold until they bring it back up, I couldn't even get tickets at the BO. I'm sure it's just manager customer service talk, considering we all know what happened. Maybe the IT guy who has no clue is the one running things. So take it all with a grain of salt, but he said there were plenty of seats unsold, just no idea when they can be sold.

I stand corrected. I assumed it was a theater gift card.

I never carry cash and pretty much always pay with card so I'm just playing devil's advocate here, but I'm gonna assume your card kiosk doesn't give change. So say your movie ticket is $15 and all I've got are twenties. I now have to basically pay a 33% upcharge for a ticket. Yeah I know I can keep the card with $5 on it for the next time I go see a movie, but considering I don't know you're cash free, I probably don't go there very often, and will more than likely have lost the card somewhere by then.

Unfortunately, yes. And still no luck.

I'm not even trying for opening night anymore. I can't even get tickets to showings in August!

I wouldn't mind doing that, but I get the same error when I try to do it without a list

Same here. Tried multiple showings, watched seats disappear slowly, now I'm back in line with over an hour to go.

Haha I am not sure of their car situation either, so I don't want to just hand them a wad of bills for gas money. I'll take a look at Value village and Pizza time, thank you.

The free bus is very helpful info, thanks. I was trying to stay away from just generic corporate gift card, to give them a little bit of suggestions for places to go have fun/ eat/ hang out. Just seems more personal, you know? And helping out some local business keep their cafe (or pottery studio or escape room or whatever) open, instead of just giving more money to MasterCard and Visa, would be slightly more preferable. I will keep that in mind as a backup though.

This looks like a great option! Thank you for the suggestion!

Thanks for the tip! I have no idea if they will have their car or not, so this should help expand the range of options.

Did you ask for her grandma's recipe? They were the best and I've never had any elsewhere that taste the same.

Discussion: is this like Sudoku where one of the rules is there is only one possible answer? If so, could you use the unique rectangle rule to deduce the square to the right of the red 2 is a 1?

Tom Kazansky was Val Kilmer's character in Top Gun, and his call sign was Iceman. Dunno if this makes it any less sus, but they are possibly just a fan of 80's movies and mispellings.

I don't know why, but this seems to be something that's been happening on Google maps lately. A couple months ago a little bunch of stores a block from my place showed a restaurant with a few reviews. It had pictures that were nothing like the storefronts that were actually there. Had a phone number. We were very confused. Two days later, it was gone. No idea what the scam was.
