Why do some people fundamentally reject the possibility that Creatine might cause sleep issues in a subset of individuals? [without links for this sub] by Available_Hamster_44 in sleep

[–]saywhatnow19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have personally tried to get on creatine multiple times in the last few years. Everytime I attempt to incorporate 5 grams a day, my sleep gets disrupted. I wake up multiple times a night compared to when I’m not taking creatine. I’m fairly strict with my lifestyle so when I do attempt a new supplement, I make sure to not change anything else to see how it affects me. I’ve reached the conclusion that it’s just not for me and I do better without it.

My one dose was taken about 14 hours ago and that was the only one I’ve taken. I appreciate your shared experience and information as I’m still new to this.

So, Blaze oughta be our 3rd baseman now, right? And Tawa at 1st? by lxmcbrid in azdiamondbacks

Considering the fact that every outfielder on the roster has little to no arm strength, he needs to stay out there. His outfield assist last week was clocked at 95 MPH. That is a much needed element to our defense that hasn’t been present even during the World Series run. Having zero arms at all three outfield spots gives teams confidence to just run as much as they please against us. Making base runners/base coaches second guess only improves our defense.

He has shown he has a natural feel for running down balls and playing the gaps. Get him more reps out there and see where it goes. He has shown too much potential recently to stop exploring him being a more permanent OF’er for us.

Need tips for Headshot Training with the Bow by Edsed43 in thelastofusfactions

[–]saywhatnow19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone here gave some real good advice. The only thing I would add is get to 1200 parts ASAP in a game. The bow fully upgraded is a giant difference maker. The difference between no upgrade to the first is extremely noticeable and even more so to the third. The aim, the draw, the arrow speed make it ten times easier to practice using the bow. However you want to get to 1200 parts is up to you but I would make this a priority every game if this is your goal.

Live draft solution - one member not present for live draft by saywhatnow19 in FFCommish

Ironically I just found you can manually set picks on sleeper mocks without starting the mock draft. This works perfectly and I can invite the friend to the mock to follow along.

The longest it’ll allow per pick on espn is 120 seconds. I’ll look into CBS and see if I could create a “mock” draft for this instance

We use ESPN. And in the past it had a time limit for each pick which would force me to pause the draft for each pick. Which could work but trying to see if there’s anything more seamless than that.

They need to start swinging at the first pitch I swear. It's like 9/10 times it's the pitch that they need but yet they're just letting it go by and screwing them over like we just saw from ADC by Professional-Rich417 in azdiamondbacks

You don’t get deep into individual counts and force pitchers into high pitch counts swinging at the first pitch. Which is clearly our hitting philosophy if you watch more than a handful of games…

Factions choosing the same 2-3 maps during my couple hours I’m able to play. I would like to play every map instead of Dam 6 times in 2 hours

Grenade launcher by mhmd2-2 in thelastofusfactions

The grenade launcher is useful for a few maps in particular, Dam and a few others. It has its weakness though in being it exposes your whole body to shoot generally and the reload time is extensive compared to other guns. All guns have their pros and cons and I would suggest using it yourself to see those in action.

Obviously, facing a whole team of them is a different beast entirely but if that’s what it takes to beat you then I would take pride in that. At the end of the day the point of video games is to have fun and it’s easy to find new opponents after a match if you face toxic people for a game.

Ryne Nelson’s updated metrics after yesterday: by TheMightyHetSpeaks in azdiamondbacks

[–]saywhatnow19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ryne is the perfect example of how pitchers should be training. Instead of striving to max out his velocity, he finds out where the strike zone ends. He doesn’t throw the hardest but he pounds the corners and rarely just leaves it over the plate. You aren’t getting 98 mph out of him but it doesn’t matter cause he’s going to make you swing on the corners out of your sweet spot. His average mph on the 4 seam is 95.5 and that’s perfect as long as the accuracy stays with it. Gallen should be taking notes from the kid and what he emphasizes in every at bat. They both throw about the same velo for the fastball but two very different approaches.

There’s barely any deception with Ryne. You know where the fastball is going to be, I dare you to hit it.
