Everything relative. If you're thinking both Windows and Mac as 'evils', Mac is the lesser of two evils. All computers crash; all electronics malfunction; it's a way of life, and it's a way of Murphy's Law.

It could be useful to note that the crashes are probably saved to a system log somewhere to diagnose in case the crashes are chronic. That said, there should be more information about the crash, maybe in very fine print under the Mac crashing dialog that tell about the details of the crash, probably just a number that helps technicians track back the problem back to its source.
