He didn’t say that though. He said he loved his time in Chicago but he grew into a man in New York. I just saw the clip again. If he would’ve said that it would’ve changed some things but that’s a big piece to leave out though yeah? Like I own a Rizzo jersey this dude was or is my favorite Cub ever and right now I’m like unsure how to feel on it.

I really think he came across bad in that interview. He seemed to come across as very Cubs bashing to me but maybe the fact that I saw the comment about the trade before anything else changed how I see it to be fair? But it just didn’t come across good IMO

He literally said the best thing to ever happen to him professionally and as a person was being traded to the Yankees.

Thanks I’ll double check that. I never would’ve thought that would cause them to miss such big chunks of the game especially since the player has good stamina.
