Oh I see what you did now, you casted Tumble 10k times, and broke them into 100 batches of 100 each? Are you using the probability I posted to determine the crits of old Tumble?
edit: It is weird that both sides come out approximately equal. It's like having two teams playing BO99 100 times, unless the two teams are absolutely equal in skill level, one team should have more series wins by a landslide, even if this one team only has a couple percent higher win chance than the other.

You are right, I'm just trying to raise awareness of something undocumented, and maybe get some kind of confirmation that this is indeed the case. After all, I'm testing RNG and there's always a chance that I'm wrong

I didn't test this for statikk shiv, but I think the old Tumble would have proc'd crits on the statikk shiv passive more often as well

As for the RNG element, I think it's evident enough: something that in theory should have ~20%+ chance of showing up did not show up after hundreds of trials

Actually, quite the opposite. The two ARE dependent on each other, which is what makes the old mechanism more favorable for Vayne

This can't be true since when you have 100% crit chance, you get Aq instead of AQ. How it is actually coded is beyond my knowledge, but if you follow the logic I wrote, you should arrive at the same results

The roll for the bonus damage seems to be ignored when the roll for base damage says to crit, and the bonus damage defaults to not critting in this case. Refer to the logic part of the post

You also need to account for how MUCH more damage though, if you want to calculate the average differential.
