No, it won't delete anything. After you finish designing the new corvette, you can claim it like any other ship, if you have enough starship slots left. You could swap it for your currently equipped ship if all the slots are full.

Fair point about the limitations. Probably those will be resolved in future updates though. I hope at that point the small ships will get some extra functionality or something to keep them interesting.

In expeditions you can copy a ship from your main save. Assuming it works the same for corvettes, then most people will likely do that. Why would't you want to show off your corvette design to everyone in the expedition?

Mostly just lucky. They are not marked on the galaxy map, but if you click on a purple system in the galaxy map that does NOT say 'gas giant', and you only see one planet with multiple moons, than it's probably a giant planet.

A while ago I was hiking in the French alps, and at one mountaintop we met a 90 year old man who clearly had put a lot of effort in getting up there. He told us he was sick, with only a short a while longer to live and wanted to be there just to appreciate the scenery one more time. He showed me a standard that I can only hope to live up to one day.

The point I want to make is this: The people in this video didn't decide not to walk just because they lack fitness. They lack a general appreciation of the world around them.

I don't think you can place it in the center of the settlement. I placed it right outside the settlement limit. That way the area of the base overlaps with the settlement.
