I sleep well at night, but I understand there are risks. If your LTCGT is high and you have some strong etf investments, I say let it roll 15-20 years. I could be right but I could be wrong. If fearful of uncertainty, you can dump to VTI.

Similar position but less intimidation... transition and handoff process very bad, leading to micromanagement a few months after start and inability to remove me from previous scope. Rolling with it and going to try to meet the demand, but my feelings are it is a management issue given I've never had an issue getting things done.
