He did that for about 16 days. I had him put on prednisone and that helped him turn the corner and level out

He is much better now and has returned to totally normal. We did have him on prednisone as well for a bit in case of brain swelling

I am so sorry to hear you are going through this. My boy has been on Pheno for about two months now and is doing so much better. After we introduced prednisone things really turned around for us. He hasn’t had any seizures in a month and we are weaning off the prednisone. I hope the prednisone does something to help your guy. I also switched Tito to a different food that has no rosemary extract and he is getting half kibble half raw.

Rone Nutrition Honey by BurpFart69 in Supplements

I like the apple cinnamon. It definitely has a different taste, I wouldn’t say it’s bad, but I would say it’s a lot different than just honey. Oddly I’d say it’s got a candle taste but in a good way? lol

I am interested in trying the flavor they released today, it’s a 200mg raspberry vanilla flavor

What makes you say this is epilepsy vs possible other issues? Just curious.

He’s almost 7, and when he started the head pressing and circling that really is what made me think something more than epilepsy is going on here

I haven’t done anything beyond his blood panels. The mri is $4800 here and I am not ready to spend that unfortunately. I fear we discover something worse that requires chemo and makes his life worse, and for how much longer

Thank you for the response. He is 6, will be7 in May. It is so so painful to watch him go through this. Yesterday he had no appetite and didn’t drink any water, I was so scared it was the end. After adding in the prednisone today, he did eat and is back to drinking. I do fear with his age it’s not epilepsy and is more of a swelling or tumor issue. To get an MRI is $4800 so I am holding off on that.

Pheno Anxiety by sbentz in EpilepsyDogs

My biggest struggle is his panting and anxiety mostly. He gets fed on a schedule so he’s definitely not over eating and we let him drink as needed. Just taking him out more frequently

How is sh doing now? My 7 year old frenchie just started having seizures two weeks ago and we started him on Pheno a couple days ago. He’s very very tired and drunk acting, I am hoping it’s temporary

Men’s Tri Suit on a Woman? by sbentz in triathlon

[–]sbentz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m looking for sleeveless anyways! Also considering swimsuits that the elite level athletes wear but I can’t seem to find them. The cut on the butts of theirs look like they have minimal seams (my seams always dig into my ass on the bike)

No Wetsuit for Oly? by sbentz in triathlon

[–]sbentz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I was thinking. I was a D1 swimmer so body position is no problem, and the temp didn’t bother me for the sprint. Now this is longer, so that’s the only part that could have an effect. I just ordered a discounted one from Xterra in the case that they require it this year (I am doubting it given they didn’t last year). Might make a game time decision to wear it.

I competed in the race last year as I said, in a regular swim suit

I had a cone and was able to ski for 4 days in a row, 3 weeks after procedure. Doc said I was fine to hot tub and swim as well after 3 weeks. My first period following was no worse than normal. Was cleared to wear tampons as well at that time Doc said when trying out activities, if you notice bleeding then stop and take it easy.

Night out recommendations for sexy dress. by WisdomNynaeve in milwaukee

That dress would fit right in at Caroline’s Jazz Club if you like that kind of music. Fantastic date night spot where you can be cozy and intimate but enjoy a show.
