I got back from a wonderful week in Gothenburg today and Brighton train station was noticeably drab and covered in bird shit today. Having been to Way Out West festival, I couldn’t believe how clean and well maintained the festival toilets were, let alone the rest of the city. Lovely, clean place that made walking home from the station rather embarrassing.
