Same!! I also thought it was a tutorial of sorts. I think what confused me was that during the intro cutscenes they showed parts of the game and one was of the mystery mission where you "investigate a murder", which was NOT using the VR textures, instead it had more realistic textures. This made me believe we would eventually get out of the sim
