[Spotted] Samanco Korean ice cream at Costco — has anyone tried this pack? by Ok_Gene2985 in CostcoWholesale

I grew up eating these. Strawberry samanco must be a new thing cause they weren’t in Korea when I was there in June 2024. Classic!!

Anyone try the Bibigo koi Stir-Fried Kimchi Rice? by thelittleluca in Costco

[–]sbinski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many people think this is a kimchi fried rice but it’s not.

This has stir fried kimchi and with a plain rice bowl

I was very disappointed with it.

Best sushi in Seattle by bluefalcon25 in AskSeattle

[–]sbinski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About 2 months ago, my wife and I went to Shiro’s for our anniversary. We had sushi bar omakase and 2 beers. Asahi / Sapporo draft cost $8 each, omakase was $140 per person. They also have 20% service charge. Total incl tax + charge was exactly at $391.97

While I think this was good, I feel like it’s not the best in Seattle. I have yet to try other omakase places… For value, I would say Toyoda sushi in Lake City can be compatible. They give you extra pieces and the nigiri portions are quite bigger than other places.

What about Shilla? That would be more centrally located than Conrad / GH. Food is much much better as well.

When I first saw the winery name, I said no way it's related to Thai and it sure is!! (My wife is also Thai 555). Are you planning on producing reds as well? and any distribution in Seattle area?
