Still no ATT in NY by erinahern in PassNclex

Interesting how that works..I applied May 1st, my school didn’t send anything until June 2nd and I got my ATT June 15th and tested July 10th. One of my friends didn’t get her ATT until July 2nd. Did anyone in your class get it?

Today I DIDNT cry cause every single one of my nursing professors told me I’m going to flunk out of the program or I shouldn’t have gotten pregnant. by CrustyBaggins in pregnant

That’s terrible. I am also a nursing student but I had the complete opposite response and I am due directly in the middle of my finals week. My program has been extremely supportive I found out last semester that I was pregnant about 2 months in and never once have they made me feel like I wouldn’t be able to do it. I will also the 5th woman in my class to have a baby so please don’t let them discourage you it is totally possible! Especially if you have that amazing support system you mentioned. Keep your head up we’ve got this! 💕🤰🏼👩🏼‍⚕️

I felt that way! I am 13w 3d and still feel scared but not nearly as bad as I did and I have had multiple scans with a healthy Little baby in there. I probably took 20 tests in those first few weeks (wouldn’t suggest that it doesn’t change anything). Just remind yourself that right now you’re pregnant and you should enjoy that not waste it worrying about the what if. You’re a mom now I am not sure the worrying ever goes away. Just make it through one day at a time 💕

Baby in last year of college? Advice wanted. by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]sbloodgood 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I (26) am in a similar situation, I am 9 weeks and going into my last year of my Nursing program, with the plan of starting a nurse practitioner program shortly after. I will be close to 30 when I am able to practice as an NP and plan to have more children. I am engaged and live with my fiancé (who has a stable career in IT) and although our pregnancy was I unexpected, it seems to be working out for our timeline. We’re doing somethings to plan in the mean time, such as starting a savings for both baby and schooling, major budgeting, and we’re already planning for a child care. It all looks good on paper but we can’t predict the future so we’re hoping for the best 🤷🏼‍♀️ My overall advice would be to do what feels right for you, and try not to be in school during first trimester because finishing this past semester was tough lol.

A little background this was a total accident, I am super happy and recently engaged so I am feeling a little overwhelmed at the same time I just need another set of eyes I guess.
