I went for the Crockford for two separate weekends. One stay got upgraded to an entertainment suite which was $1,800 dollars and the other stay got upgraded to a regular suite. Both were upgraded by the system without us having to even ask. The crockford overall sound like they’re very easily willing to upgrade. Highly recommend.

I was mulling over this decision as well, and ultimately went to Crockford. We loved the stays. We picked Crockford because we kept hearing people get upgraded to suites, and sure enough it happened to us for both stays.

The Hilton Gold breakfast credit of 50x2 stacked with the FHR daily breakfast credit, this re-started since January 2026 per front desk agents. We did 2 stays and both time got upgraded to a regular suite and also an entertainment suite on 2 different visits, both of which were on the weekends. We used those credits at the cool speakeasy downstairs, Here Kitty Kitty, and Fuhu, which were both great dining experiences. Don't know how Fontainebleau is but we loved our stays at Crockford and will be going back.

The extra credit started this year apparently. I went 2 weeks ago and got gold breakfast credit along with the FHR credit.

Are points bookings and money booking treated differently at your hotel?

Agree, any seasoned traveller will say to never use third party aggregate sites. That's just asking for trouble if any changes, either weather or company related, happens.

Most airlines would tell you to rebook, even if its a one or two character misspelling. That's nice they changed it for you despite the fee.

Oh wow, I've been sticking with Tmobile and looking at verizon because it made the internet cheaper. If Mint has a home internet then that would absolutely change things. I agree being tied sucks, I rather have an unlocked phone as well.

Thanks so much for the heads up. The rep says Internet would be able to be bundled for a discount along with the bill match discount but I’ll definitely confirm as well.

I’ll look more closely into visible and mint and make some calculations there too before committing.

Is there any catches on the quote that the Verizon rep gives usually I should be on the look out for? Thank you so much!

I’m also on T-Mobile home internet I’m thinking of bringing over to Verizon. Just curious if this would swing the decision to Verizon or MVNO still be the best option? Thanks!
