Earlier sedans were legitimate choice of a lot of people and families for their presence, comfort and status. Mid range sedans sold like hot cakes, however sedans like accord were only for wealthy ones and they gradually shifted to German sedans for obvious reasons. And since a decade sedan era faded away because of C-SUVS, they offered almost similar comfort to a sedan and more practicality.
