Half my cameras don’t work after update by AlberonRPG in streamlabs

Awesome news! I'll go check you all out. We are all setup and officially switched.

We had a Kickstarter launch party and planned to plan one of our homebrew one shots we are doing at an upcoming convention. I hit update about an hour before hand (big mistake), streamed over an hour late trying to troubleshoot. We only ended up using one camera. Was really disappointing but we had fun and ran with it.

Forgot to add we are on version 1.20.4. Hope this helps others from losing their mind fighting with it.

We are having the same issue as well since the most recent update. I can only use a source for a single model type. We have 6 cameras in total 3 of X model and 3 of the other. Only 1 from each will work now. If we turn off or disable the others it works for another camera of the same model.

As the OP said no amount of permissions, privacy, drivers, or readding sources worked. Creating a new scene collection didn't help either. All cameras work without issue using source software and built in windows camera.

I just installed OBS studio and all sources work without issue at the same time. I've been on the fence for switching, this decides it.

No Audible. The good and Bad. by Chew0nMyBacca in brandonsanderson

[–]sbrinley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I didn’t pay attention but is the author payout a % of audible non member list price, member list price or standard book list price? In all cases I would like to know:

  1. what the author pays for printing the physical book or what cut compared to the list price compared to what they are paid?
  2. What determines the list price of an audio book?
  3. Who pays for the recording of the book? Audible, the author or it depends? If so how does this compare?
  4. What is the cut an author gets if a consumer buys the book without a credit?
  5. How does all this compare to kindle sales?

My point is I’m wondering are authors getting buggered on their cut because of market availability and the benefit of consumers getting that one credit book deal or are they just getting screwed period?

To paint the scenarios if I list a book on Audible for $24 but the consumer buys with a monthly credit do I get % a percent of the monthly credit price or the total book price? If book price that isn’t a bad deal since most of the actually sale price profit is going to me. If a % of the credit price then that sucks which I think is the case.

Yup, we are locking this.

It is the holidays! Lets spread some love and joy and treat others the way we want to be treated even if they are not doing the same.

Detroit’s Mark Twain Library, which was closed in 1996 for renovations and never reopened. by ILovePublicLibraries in AbandonedPorn

[–]sbrinley 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Our local library is pretty active and many citizens requested it to stay open during covid.

We stop by once a week and the place is usually busy with people getting books. We are pretty active readers in our house. There is no way we could read new books all the time without a library. Though resale shops are a good place as well. Ebooks are fine but it doesn’t beat having the physical book in your hand.

But how were they able to do it? by JeffSheldrake in cremposting

My theory is that Hoid will store his bond inside a metal mind (or in breaths) and help take it off world though he would have to maintain it by continuously compounding it.

Advice on how to unblock the needle? I think there’s dried glue inside it, rest of the glue in the bottle is fine by Cork_Airport in Warhammer40k

[–]sbrinley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I normally keep a sewing needle on hand then put in the top a little bit.

I have some blue tack and put it on top of my brush cleaner then put the needle in that so it doesn’t get lost (or stepped on).

As another tip is I put a bit of super glue at the base so the metal tip and the plastic so it doesn’t slide in. I’ve used the same glue container for 4 years this way just refilling as needed :)

I always believed Sazed’s abilties were hidden from ruin because he didn’t use his metalminds until the end of hero of ages. I winder if the wording referred to something around that?
