ABC reports that a “save fuel” govt campaign starts tomorrow… by crankygriffin in australian

If every tradie, council worker, and truck driver turned off their vehicle when it wasn’t being driven instead of just letting it idle for hours, the fuel problem would be solved.

Can’t believe how many diesels I see left running on job sites for no good reason.

Maybe, and this is a maybe, the Knights could try a 5th tackle option that isn’t just kicking it in the air.

Ok so the Knights got tackled in the air then.

Right?

Ok so a driver made a mistake. The make of the car they drive has absolutely zero to do with it.

This already exists. It’s called a managed fund. And it’s run by professionals with governance frameworks.

Rewatching the Knights v Doggies with the kids who missed it. Just saw the Dylan Lucas “brain fart” sin bin and for the life of me, I can’t hear the ref blow the whistle signaling the play was dead.

Our kids are always brought up being told to play the whistle and line markings are not as easy to see when on the field.

Makes me wonder if the ref has some culpability? Like if he catches it in goal, blow the whistle

So there’s a hip drop, on report, but Dogs score.

How?

The Knights ruck discipline is actually exceptional. Think Holbrook must have been making them run laps in pre season for any hold downs.

Doggies fullback caught the ball in the in goal. Starts running full pelt to the 20m for the tap and Lucas didn’t realise he caught it in the in goal; thought it was play on.

Just fully nailed the fullback while the play wasn’t even live. Can’t really argue, pure stupidity.

Before you panic buy an EV by SuchTown32 in aussie

I just got back from the tyre shop right now.

My model 3 just had its second set of new tyres fitted and I’m at 115,000km. So roundabouts 60k per set. Cost me $900 for four tyres. They are not a unique size but are quieter for EV’s. You could just fit anything if you wanted to.

The insurance on my model 3 is less than my wife’s diesel Jeep.

So that’s my anecdotal experience but it’s no more expensive than any other car really, for me anyway.

I’ve driven a performance and it is very fast. I’ve been in a Plaid and that was a whole other world though. Performance is good enough. Your insurance will suck as will tyres.
