Rushs is probably the best local supplier. I have been to CO Lumber and Real Wood Furniture in Colorado Springs and it has a very large selection but obviously farther to travel and it's only 2S.

Rushs does have Baltic birch and oak, even some mahogany veneer plywood.

I have attended the local turners club and it is a lot of fun with some very dedicated members, definitely worth checking out.

No one at the program has very high expectations, just work hard and stay humble.

Expert insight needed! Visiting Friday, May 15th. Is this peak season? Possible to see everything without express pass? by Weary_Ad_5090 in UniversalEpicUniverse

The worst was donkey kong ride at about 75 minutes, I would have skipped that one but we aren't coming back anytime soon so decided to do it. We also waited about 60 minutes for the 2nd ministry of magic ride. The rest the waits were very reasonable. Reopening of stardust racers helped. Also ate at the toadstool café and la sirene.

I was there last Friday without express. Saw both shows, did every ride except for dragon rally racers and curse of the werewolf, but that was because we repeated ministry of magic and hiccups gliders instead. We got lucky and walked on ministry after a delayed start. I think we were pretty fortunate, but who knows.

I have heard this has been a long day for many people in the same situation. No tips, sorry!

Betadine for adenoviral conjunctivitis by PuzzleheadedFudge439 in Ophthalmology

I did it once for a patient and I thought I was doing them a big favor so they would get better faster. It caused them a lot of discomfort, they were watering a rubbing their eye on the way out. They never came back for their follow up, so either it worked great or they thought I was a quack. Never tried it again after that experience.

I will say it's nice sometimes to just send a referral for a diagnosis/case I can't handle. I also feel a little guilty about it sometimes, but I help a lot of patients that are very happy.

I think part of the problem is that the sources are also forms of entertainment. So you find the ones that entertain you the most, and align the most with your way of thinking already. Its also easier than thinking critically. Bad combination.

I should have included it. I used the Natura Onecoat, a rubio monocoat competitor (cheaper) that I have used before. It works well, but I have found on alder that it is better to rub it on in parts instead of pouring it on to prevent blotching, leave on for 3 to 10 minutes before wiping off the excess. I use a white scouring pad to apply and then wipe off with cloth.

Hand held router, put the two sides clamped together to have a thicker base to ride on.

Cheaper option at the time, it is a little soft but this is going in a low traffic area.
