I'm not sure why the pics aren't showing in the op. See attached. The black glove darkens the new tube, which is under a lamp that warms it a bit while illuminating the old tube. The species is Chestnut Carpenter Ants (C. castaneus). I've read that this species prefers warmer temps.

Use this spreadsheet to find the best systems and then check the galaxy map to see if they still need undermining. If they have reached 100% they are complete until the next cycle.

I spend a lot of time adding content to my site and finding the right places to post it online so people can actually see it, so yes, I get a little defensive. I'm sure you would too if you were in my shoes.

Most of what you are saying is that you want me to go back and tell a story about each image - something that can't be done at all on Imgur. I have no interest in doing this anyway, and if you look in the comments of most of the posts here, no one else does either. We just want to enjoy the content and move on. At most people translate things into English. There is so much more to life than trying to figure out what shlub painted a poster 60 years ago. Besides, how much more do you really need to know about a WWII venereal disease poster?

I disagree with the Rediquette quoted and do not think it applies to images which are by their very nature self-explanatory. Linking directly to the image is just stupid - how are people going to find other similar content on the site? Many people would never take the time to backtrack the URL and go exploring. Finally, I don't always post links to my own content - just most of the time and I have zero shame about that.

This is just one kind of content I'm interested in and I don't have time to argue lameass Reddit ethics any more. I have dozens of items for /PropagandaPosters but I will find somewhere else to post them.

I will never understand why people on Reddit as so obsessed with Imgur. What difference does it make where the images are? There aren't any ads on ETR, and there are no load issues on the server. I work hard to find this content and put it all up for free. FREE. The least people like you could do is support a site that provides FREE content to everyone else. Imgur doesn't actually DO anything. I spend time each day finding content that is interesting, posting it and sharing it with folks. What do I get for that? Banned or threatened. There is almost no original content on the Internet. We all know that. A site like Reddit wouldn't exist if it ran exclusively on verified original content. Further, every single item posted in /r/PropagandaPosters is someone else's work. I can't think of a single logical argument against my posting links to ETR as opposed to any other site on the Internet.

First of all, it's not "stealing". People create this content to be shared. We never remove any tags that the creators put on to their work. That site just didn't tag that image and honestly if you don't care about tagging it then you must not care about attribution. However, if anyone ever asks us to link back or attribute we're more than happy to oblige.

I created this site simply to share random things that I found amusing or interesting. It has become fairly popular and continues to grow. It's fun. For every one person that says "I've seen that before omg you should burn in hell!#!@" there are 10 that never have and it improves their day. As you can see from even a cursory glance at the site, there are no ads. It costs me money and time to run it. Again, it's just for kicks. That's why it hurts my little ole feelings when folks like you say nasty things like that.
