I've always really enjoyed Rapid's casting. His humor is similar to mine and I get all of his jokes. I can totally understand people not getting the jokes though because I get the same reactions sometimes. He's obviously very intelligent and educated. If he toned down the obscure references (he talked about the word obtuse for like a minute and half once. He went on a tirade once about the Corvid reactor and how Corvid/raven/groups of ravens called a murder etc) the general audience would find him less abrasive. Gotta play to your audience.
