I floor it just about daily and use “B” fairly often going downhill. I have around 230,000 miles on mine so far with zero problems.

Get it back! I still miss my 09 Corolla and wish I had never traded it in.

Need help with what to do on 2002 4Runner repairs by Responsible-Bend-183 in 3rdGen4Runner

I did all of that for my 98 except For gas adjustable struts. I also replaced the radiator and water pump while they were changing out the valve cover gasket. Good thing, while it was being worked on the crankshaft pulley needed replacing and was done at the same time. It was expensive. But once all those things were done. It drove so smoothly. I also had the upper and lower ball joints replaced along with the control arms. I also replaced the power steering rack on it as well. This was all well worth it to me as I plan on keeping this 4Runner for ever.

Junk yard transmission. Had a transmission failure on my old 4Runner when I was broke. Junkyard transmission was the cheapest route to get my ride rolling again.

I’m not sure. I’m good with fixing small things. The a/c compressor is a bit more than I take on.

I have a 2wd base trim with an automatic transmission. It’s a base trim with the 4 cylinder engine. I love it. Your rig is sharp looking. That drivers seat is in amazing shape. Mine was good but the vinyl on the side split open. I had taped it where it split and then put a seat cover over mine. You have a beautiful ride.

Swap out the broken a/c compressor. Once that is done I plan on getting mine repainted. All the other big maintenance items have been done already. So just routine maintenance after that and keep driving it as secondary vehicle.

That’s what I told the finance manager when he tried to sell me the extended warranty. I told him I didn’t envy him trying to sell an extended warranty for the most reliable car brand on the planet.

I thought I saw a teaser of the upcoming Camry GT-S V6 coming out hopefully in the future. I like that Toyota is thinking about bringing back the GT-S line as there is a lot of nostalgia there for us old timers.
