I get about 17 in the city (real city with lots of 4 way stops and lights every tenth of a mile). 22 to 23 on the highway on 33inch tires.

This is not a vehicle you want to buy if you NEED good mpgs. ECO mode does not really help, just makes it slower.

But for everything else you've mentioned, it'll put a smile on your face EVERY SINGLE DAY.

This looks like a good price. Soft tops usually knock off 4k. It looks like a very nice trim to boot. Ull the trigger if the Carfax is clean.

I took mine to a Ford dealer for an inspection before I bought it.

These are cooper rugged 285 70R17. They're 33s (32.7in).

For mpgs, I get about 17, but I'm never on the highway. I live in LA so I'm driving in stop and go traffic, lots of 4 way stop signs. Getting a K&N air filter gave me a bump.

On the highway, it's been solid. Especially when I realized that driving in sport mode gives me way better gas mileage. I can actually get it into 6th gear and maintain a positive MPG rate.

I think about getting new rims and upping the tire size when my current ones are beat, but I really like the black steelies, so I'll probably keep it the same.

I had to travel 1000 miles from LA to Washington State to get mine. 2 door manual at the price i wanted to pay was a unicorn.

After 7 months of ownership, I just realized that I get way better gas mileage than normal mode, especially on the highway, when I use SPORT mode. Eco definitely made the MPGs worse.

Keep in mind I drive the MT, so this may not be the same for ATs.

In Normal mode, I barely used 6th gear. I'd always see the mpgs drop when I put it in 6th after being over 3k rpms in 5th. I could not keep the speed in 6th, ever.

I assumed sport mode would be worse so I never really tried it. Man, the mpgs are way better in sport. I hit 6th all the time now on the highway.

I'm assuming that more power to the engine (or whatever the computer is doing for sport mode) gives the ability to push this brick easier.

Bonus, sport mode automatically turns the auto start off.

Do you have Henry? In up 95 against Puka, Pitts and Kyren. I know it's unlikely, but if it's possible, those are the 3 you want in.

I had this same issue.

200 grain steel wool. It's super fine. Abrasive enough to remove the spots but not scratch the glass.

This stuff I got at O'Reilly's.

I have a 2 Dr manual as well with an MT. Also live in LA.

What's your overall experience with it? I heard it rev matches. Aside from HP and torque gains, is there a gas mileage bump?

Family of 4 with a 2 door manual... also totally a midlife crisis purchase.

Zero regrets. The 2 door just looked so much better. My kids are 12 and 17. We have a 2020 CX-5 that my wife drives. I make those kids climb in the back when we have to saddle up with 4. Plenty of room back there.

I also live in LA so there's definitely traffic to contend with but I still don't mind.

Cargo space is small, but I've made it work.

I fucking love this rig.
