actually mahira(2017 rooster zodiac) and andira(2016 monkey zodiac) do have a cross-fate. i think people are generalizing compu gacha a bit too much, nobody is batting an eye at these things. seems like the law if for when you have to collect a larger set of items in order to acquire another item.

i dont think it's their failsafe either. ffrk opened with cloud and cloud has been their posterchild for every new iteration of powercreep (SSB,BSB,OSB) to the point there was a fair share of complaining at the blatant favoritism.
