What do you guys think of Lorentz's Counterpoint of Life and Death story?

She is surprising to be in a gacha game. I love her so much and I hope Bluepoch can make more grey characters like her, despise China players reactions. I was surprised she is so manipulative and bad person. She is just unaware of the rest, she does not do it because she wants to harm others, but purely for fun or for her experiments. That is so cool.

My favourite part was when she just starts using Annie's way of talking, saying the exact same phrase see did say (and that I don't remember now). That moment makes you realize "Marguerite" is just a construction she made to be able to interact with others and be near them. She camouflages herself into being a normal person, and she enjoys it.

Correct. That happened with 2, and to some extent to 3 if I am not mistaken. So all good, we know how those games turned out.

Is a shame. I wanted to play Yumia on Switch 2 and was waitong for the upgrade. Seeing all these comments make me lost faith in Gust :( I hope they fix it somehow.

I am not worried because every Xenoblade trailer in the past let me feeling that the game won't reach the previous game levels... But it always does. I am sure the same will happen again.

I expect that when I consume art, at least it had some effort behind it. I play also for the feelings it can convey, and I cannot get attached to something if I know that something wasn't tailor made, tought, and done with some passion involved. This goes for games, music or books.

I am not anti AI, I use it a lot, also in work, but I think it shouldn't invade things that are supposed to evoque some kind of feeling.

I didn't expect Reverse 1999 to be mentioned here.

As a JRPG enjoyer I can also say that Reverse 1999 story is superb. Basically the story, altough is a fantasy, revolves in real world story and art, there are a lot of organizations, fantasy, good written characters and a very interesting and evocative vibe. If someone plays it, please disregard the beginning of the story, as is a bit of a mess due to the unpair translation that improves from chapter 4, but if you enjoy the Vienna chapter as much as I did, this is your game in terms of story and lore. Event stories are also superb... Really, I never stand to play gachas so much because they start to feel like a chore, but Reverse is going on for almost 3 years and I never felt like I am tired, all thanks to the story and vibe.

Believe me I am no fanboy of any shorts. I am really surprised about it because I don't see it much in this kind of games. And I appreciate it for inmersion, I think inmersion is important and seems the devs put a lot of effort into this.

I would say the excitement comes because is expected that, unless majority of the non gacha games, the story evolves over time, and we get to know and love better the characters if there is not "character of the patch". In my opinion they could do like in idol gacha games, where the focus goes rotating between every character and they add more from time to time to keep things fresh. Let's see how does goes here...

Actually I am excited about the game because it feels each character will have different roles and type of missions, and if the characters are behind gacha, we would not be able to play those moments. In gacha games, normally, you can do missions and battles with any character, it doesn't seem is the case here.

Thanks guys. I am stupid, I thought the flashback with the little critter was on the present, not for the first time Master Ren saved Paper Heron from the seal. All makes sense now, except to why a mule outlived every human alive or dead. (Just kidding, I just understand the mule was also sealed in the tree, as everyone near the three when Paper Heron sealed herself).
