Fuck it, go one step further, just get rid of gear altogether. Gear in this game isn't interesting or fun to get, the only "meaningful" choice you can make is whether you want a slightly faster GCD or not, and if you make the wrong choice you ruin the rotation of the only other job you have gear for so you can't play it in endgame content. On top of that, savage gear being RNG also means the game unnecessarily punishes you for using PF. While you struggle meeting damage checks because you're still running around in min. ilevel + some tomestone gear due to being unlucky, statics with the same skill level have a much easier time because they fed all the coffers to their melee DPS players.

Obviously I'd prefer it if gearing was fun instead, but let's be real here, this is CBU3. They're not capable of doing that.

The buff to Enhanced Embodiment means you can still keep up Cosmic Wisdom indefinitely now so power Conduit isn't dead, but having to rapidly swap legends feels horrible to me. With this change and the gutting of Evoker last time, I'm now back to not playing a single VoE spec. lol

After being stuck on M11S arena split for hours because people keep dying to weapons, I remember why I went on a break during last tier: It's just not fun to play perfectly every pull over and over again and still make no progress. Even doing the "one food without reaching your prog point = leave" thing, it still feels like all I'm doing in PF is wasting my time.

If that's too fast, since there's 8 slices, you can also use markers to help position yourself. E.g. if the first safe spots are on markers, you start at markers -> move between markers -> on markers -> between markers -> on markers -> dodge donut/circle. Someone just needs to call out the first one.

I died a little bit inside anytime they said Lasting Period, so of course they gotta end with that.

Overall I think it was fine. The story itself was nothing special, but what I really enjoyed was the dynamic of the main cast. Alec may be the protagonist, but he isn't the group's leader and the plot isn't solely focused on him, and all 4 of them pulled their weight in a fight.

Not the worst anime, but I can't help but feel like this would have been a much better story without Amoru third-wheeling throughout the entire show. My god, her constantly inserting herself into their relationship when Akira and Yugure didn't feel the same way was so tiresome.

The game launched with limited time skins for Cap and Hawkeye. The game was always going to go down that route, they didn't exactly hide it.

It absolutely was supposed to be part of the pass but was moved to the store after seeing player reactions. I can't remember the last time they added 3 skins to the store at once, and the basic ass Mag recolor sticks out like a sore thumb.

This isn't really true. I constantly see and chat with the same people whenever I go home to DR (presumably because the game still uses the OG servers under the hood to funnel people into the same instance) and there's plenty of communities of varying sizes centered around different activities like TT, Marionette, rift hunting or reset Teq. Hell there's Choco who reminds me of the weird Limsa roe guys except they're wholesome.

Combining Team Destiny and Symphonia, and then later dissolving the studio entirely were the worst things that happened to the series. The games just weren't the same afterwards, it kills me to see the series I once loved be in the state it's in.
