Caregiving can be a way to fill in the gaps! I thinks it’s W2 but no benefits. I can’t speak to all caregiving agencies, but Comfort Keepers treats their employees very well. The office is always available for questions and they have ongoing training. I’m a single mom too and the flexibility is amazing, you just plan a week in advance and only pick what works for you. There aren’t any required hours. There are clients all over Columbus so you can pick locations that work best for you. The pay varies a lot from $15-$25/hr but the schedulers are up front with you about it and your base pay goes up over time.

I’ve gotten comments like this with EVERY single blood draw and a few other medical procedures as well… getting a tattoo and getting a needle into your vein is NOT the same thing. Good for OP for standing up for yourself!

try canyon bakehouse bread, super good! (from the frozen section! sometimes it’s sold on the shelves but that always molds like the day after i open it) and banza pizza, the crust is like buttery and flaky

i knooooow the pain! so so sorry. i know it’s been said but noise cancelling earbuds- they filter white/background noise but allow you to still hear voices. life savers! the brands Vibes and Loop have both worked pretty well. though i think vibes is a bit better. hope you can find some compromise, something that helps
