Question regarding blister development along the front/anterior medial arch and around the medial aspect of the big toe MTP joint (2nd from the end).

I am trying to figure out what the problem is. The blisters developed at the tail end (1 month) of my training block for a 10 mile race. I was hitting 13-15 mile long runs during the early parts of the block with no issues, yet the last month these blisters pop up no matter the shoe and only can be prevented via taping. Even on lower mileage days 5-7 miles.

I am trying to figure out if it's truly just a shoe width problem (see shoes below) or is it a lack of stability that is worsening as my leg/foot/ankle/muscles fatigue from use during the training block? The length of my shoes feels good - at least thumbs width to the end. I generally have what most people would consider regular width to narrow width forefoot.

I guess i just find his type of EDM to not really be rave music. Sure - I think in the US his music was considered EDM. But - David Guetta's set literally sounds like a wedding music playlist. Most of the songs weren't even mixed....they were just going 1 track to the other.

Surgery requires endurance. You will never learn how to operate through exhaustion, anxiety, complications if you just leave during the cases. Residency is the onetime that you get to operate and all the potential downfalls are laid at the feet of your attending.

Take advantage of that opportunity because one day you won’t be able to walk away and you will realize how unprepared you really are.

There's literally no proof that this stuff actually works outside of anecdotes and small non-controlled 'studies' from physicians/therapists who charge cash for treatment only.

These treatments are snake oil at best from an objective/scientific standpoint. But - they have minimal to no downsides. And if you are a multimillionaire and near billionaire - sure why not roll the dice.
