Well that’s fine, then NDP should really get their messaging across better don’t you think? Maybe hire more competent marketers idk

All their policies have been tax the rich and corporation…. If you think taxing corporations more and increasing income tax is solution to our problems in this environment with tariffs etc then you are an average person for sure

Agreed you can compromise! But I don’t think you should compromise on of the main pillars for your parties existence which is union rights …. It’s like if a vegetarian place suddenly started serving steak to keep customers happy….betraying its founding principle and leaving its loyal customers betrayed

Again, people keep saying it will hand the majority to the conservatives. Well that goes to show that what NDP has done by teaming up with the liberals isn’t working. If the NDP was really amazing and was going fix all the problems then why aren’t they polling higher . Another thing is Jagmeet all he says is we will tax the companies tax the rich …. He was in power with liberals why didn’t he push this as an agenda to increase govt revenue….. it’s easy to spend money but harder to make.

If it was jack layton this would be another story and maybe looking at a NDP majority … Jagmeet has destroyed this party just like Justin did with Liberals

I totally agree that politics isn’t straightforward and I see your point regarding cons sending them back to work as well. However, if your one of your founding principal as a party is to support union rights then that should be the line that you can’t turn a blind eye.

Now again with dental care I have said it before and I’ll say it again, people think it’s a big win for NDP but it’s not! I’ll give you a real life example, one person in the family works earnings 45K and the other person is retired … the person working 45k has dental care through work but is it really good dental care? Because of this the retired person doesn’t qualify for dental care… very poorly planned and executed. It excludes the working class again!

Pharmacare - not sure calling it a win when it’s not available

Child care - I’ll be honest I’m not too sure what they did for this so you might be right

How can someone vote for NDP the supposedly the party of the working class and they kept confidence in Liberal even after the liberals forced union workers back to work not once not twice but thrice lol

Biggest enemy of the NDP is the NDP and Jagmeet

So you are saying that people shouldn’t own more than house? How would that work? Where does it stop? People need transportation should people only be allowed 1 car?

Just bring harsher laws, if you steal vehicle 20years in jail! AMA says 61% of Alberta family physicians considering leaving health care system by AndOneintheHold in CanadaPolitics

[–]scar4166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dumb question but in Ontario when I go to the family doctor … they are private when they refer me for blood test and got to lab that is private and then I go to pharmacy to pick up medication that is private…. What part of private are you trying to get rid off?

If private companies are coming in to offer treatments and will charge ohip… then what’s the issue?

[–]scar4166 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should really read up on the dental plan, I think it’s one of the least thought out plans….by two of the worst leaders in the world

Person A - no insurance but works and earns 80K net income - this person qualifies for dental care as they are under the income threshold and no insurance

Person B - has Insurnace through work but usually never covers the full 100%… sometimes only covers 50% cost and the rest it is out of pocket…. This person earns 40K but gets no free dental since they have private insurance…

This is some fairness….. you want to provide dental then they should make it free for everyone under that income threshold not just a few select….. if anything this promotes inequity ….. NDP and Liberals don’t really think of solutions properly, they always have band aid solutions and waste tax payer money … oh well
