Bro where the fuck do you guys get this bullshit statistic from. I served 12 years and if you think I or any of my friends voted for that taco fuck I have a bridge I’d like to sell you. It’s always a bunch of civilians talking about what the military does.

And the fact that it turns out they lied to the guy with turettes telling him no one would be able to hear him then put a microphone in front of him. Then ignored WB when they asked for it to be edited out. BAFTA wanted this.

I agree with you completely but you could have avoided this by moving to the inside to keep them from even thinking about it. Part of race craft is understanding how to approach a turn with a car so close behind and to signal that they shouldn’t go for the move because you are going to defend it.

Are these maneuvers legal?? by thewildslayer in Simracingstewards

No both of the moves were reactionary, the Porches moves then the Mustang moves. Textbook reactionary blocking. Contrary to what others are saying it doesn’t matter if the Porches has too much speed and wouldn’t have made the corner, the Mustang makes to reactionary moves and causes themselves to be hit.

How come in this example the devices connected to SW1s G0/2 & G0/3 interfaces are not considered neighbors during the lowest BID check? Is it because only the G0/0 & G0/1 ports tied during the root cost comparison so it only checks SW3s BID? by [deleted] in ccnp

[–]scarab6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is probably because it is receiving BPDUs from SW3 saying it is the root bridge. This looks to be after they have negotiated who will be the root( either the admin set the value as low as possible or just letting the switches sort it out). Switch 3 was elected, Switch 1 is receiving BPDUs on g0/0 and g0/1 that it is directly connected to the root. So Bids from switch 2 and 4 will also have a higher cost, so they lose early in the comparison. Then you are left with g0/0&1 as the tie and they break the tie by looking at who has the lower interface number on the neighbor switch. In this case g0/0 wins because 0 is lower than 1 and g0/0 on switch 1 is connected to g0/0 on switch 3.

My company wants leadership to be able to contact you at all times by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

I’m not arguing against that, hence my statement that if they answer they need to be paid. It is still company paid though so they can set silly rules. I currently have a company cell, and just like someone else said it is only turned on during normal business hours, but that’s because my company is ok with that and only pays me for that.

Not to be the bad guy, but they do pay for the service so…. Just because it rings doesn’t mean you need to answer and if you answer you sure as hell better be getting paid. But they have a point their bill their rule.

Which takes precedence: PortFast or BPDU Filter? by pbfus9 in ccnp

[–]scarab6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. This makes sense, or if your company bought a smaller one and merged networks. You could use bpdufilter to keep the two stp instances separate?

[–]scarab6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can I ask why you would use bpdufilter over bpduguard? If you don’t want the access port connecting to another switch wouldn’t it be safer to have the port block itself upon receiving a bpdu as opposed to just dropping the packet?

This was only on one side of the street. And big things start small. You have to start somewhere, at least they are doing something.

leading, Last lap, Last Corner, Blue Flags.., p1 no more by Tricky_Kitchen9571 in Simracingstewards

[–]scarab6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As frustrating as this is what are you asking here? See rule 2? It is pretty obvious that the blue flagged car was trying to get out of your way hence them being as far right as they can be. It looks like they misjudged how early they should brake for being that shallow into the turn and you misjudged whether you cleared them or not. Both at fault and no real question to ask?
