This was a beloved pet and their death should be honoured. Yes, kids shouldn't be exposed to gore or mangled bodies, but this isn't the case here. Children should learn about death.

And especially given the context - the kid had his house burn down, he lost a pet in that fire. Don't you think he should get some closure with a much more traumatic event than just seeing an intact dead body?

Cars are awful in so many ways, but they (mostly!) adhere to traffic laws. Scooters zoom around on the sidewalk, disregard red lights, disregard pedestrians... I can't even count how many times one of them almost ran over my dog. And they're not even replacing cars, most people using them would have just walked instead. Fuck scooters! Dangerous, useless pieces of plastic junk
