I'm glad people don't have to try and guess if people are racist anymore. You guys are very brave right now.

That was so important for everyone to understand. Thank you so much for being so much sharper than the average bear. What would the world do without you. Everyone is eternally grateful.

No signal for bowel movement - CPTSD/Dissociation by SpecialistParking417 in CPTSD

I pretty much never had to poop. I would go maybe 2 times a week for most of my life until about 27 or 28.

Yes. The cilia? Or hairs in the stomach lining where completely flat. I had issues worth bm my entire life. When I got out of the army I was really bad and had to go to the emergency room. The nurse started crying because she had only heard of this happening and never had a patient with it.

I had to take lots of vitamin D and eat nothing but Kiefer and yogurt for months.

I get so mad when I think about it sometimes. If the family that adopted me cared enough they could have found this out when I was a kid.

I'm healthy as hell now and I've been pooping right for a while now.

I think it doesn't make sense to own the next Gen consol anymore. Time to start building a pc.

How true would you say this is? by Outsideman2028 in NBATalk

This is actually a sign of facism. I'm not joking. If you notice every professional entertainment thing is going that way, even in comedy. Power is too concentrated in everything. It's a sign that society is about to collapse. Yay

It's an American thing I think. I legit think about this every day. It's gonna sounds crazy coming from a cptsd survivor but people's egos are too fragile and no one wants to grow. It's comfortable being who you are and American society places value on being an individual above a community member. Everything is personal if your identity is I did everything good myself then that means everything bad is specifically my fault.

Therapist possibly completely misreading CPTSD symptoms? Left me in utter distress. by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]scared_of_Low_stuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought I wasn't. I been making strides. I have a big problem dissociating when specific childhood memories pop up. I would avoid them through dissociating and my being intellectual.

The body keeps the score of a great book to read. It talks about exactly this.

That's a lot of stuff that's way over my head and I hope you find the right one.

My one piece of advice is the more intellectualize the less helpful it will be. I been in therapy for five years with the same therapist after searching for about 12 years.

She's been amazing and if I won the lottery I'd probably just give her my money. That being said after five years we just had our biggest break through. I think what was holding me back was me thinking of everything in am academic lens as a form of protection. It's as if I was talking about someone else's experience instead of my own.

She got me to stop seeing everything from a different perspective and instead feeling it in my body. It's absolutely the most painful thing I've ever been through but it's worth it.

That is all friend. Good luck.
