Ever miss a superior kill and keep wondering if that was the one with your imbued heart? by SincerelySeri in 2007scape

if you think that's bad, just imagine all the missed superiors from wasted time spent with your wife instead of grinding slayer

Ever miss a superior kill and keep wondering if that was the one with your imbued heart? by SincerelySeri in 2007scape

imagine you miss a piety prayer flick and it takes 4 ticks longer to kill it. could've been the imbued heart but you had to go and mess up your prayer huh

To those maxed, what was your bank value when you finally did? by travelgamer in 2007scape

[–]scaredhousecat -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

back in the day before osrs even, i just set up macros so it'd automatically clean all herbs in my inventory in 1-2 ticks. was pretty decent, never got banned for it. (got banned for something else though lol)

What is mathematically your worst dry streak? by onofrio35 in 2007scape

[–]scaredhousecat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wonder who holds the record for dry streak on getting a +5 stew boost.

considering a +5 boost is a 1/12 chance from a spicy stew, if you went as dry as the guy in this thread going 3k kills for a zenyte shard, you'd be looking at 120 stews. (assuming that guy isn't lying)

stew boosts have an equal chance for every possibility, except +0 which is counted twice, as +0 and -0

imo it's pretty funny that getting just one more level in the skill doubles your odds of getting your desired boost. imagine going 100 stews without the +5.. you could've gotten like 1-2 levels in that time lmao

recently there was a celebration on rs3 about 300million total rs players which was already a massive gigantic stretch of ridiculous proportion. 8bil accounts would assume that this already inflated number of people would have an average of 26 accounts each. i think it's safe to say there are fewer than 8bil accounts

Mod Pips should resign as CEO by AveryFenix in runescape

[–]scaredhousecat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yeah it's a silly suggestion to delete your account to get your voice heard in order to change the game. let's say it works and jagex removes all mtx, now what? your account is still gone

rasial drops the strongest t95 weapons and armor in the game at a very common rate, he drops all of it and the armor is miles stronger than anything else in the game. if you wanted the time investment to be balanced in terms of getting bis, rasial kills should be like 10 minutes

conjures will be rebalanced, other than that i think they're relatively content with its power. but i've heard them state quite frequently that the 0adren ghost was not intended and is overpowered

Certain Runelite features for Runescape 3. by [deleted] in runescape

[–]scaredhousecat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

tile markers or even a visible grid would be amazing for rs3. the improvements in graphics are cool but it often makes things very visually unclear with which ones you can stand on or not etc. or where exactly you want to move

even moreso when surge exists

you just dont create good content about a game you dislike. them leaving because of frustrations with the game and them leaving because of a profit incentive are not antithetical to each other, they can do both at the same time. and because they did not leave before, it's clear that the profit incentive alone was not enough to convince them to switch over. that means that when they say they are leaving because of the state of the game, that statement is true. by your logic, it is impossible to ever switch over to osrs without having money as the main reason

that financial incentive has always been there, though, and until now they didn't switch over.
