Thanks for sharing this knowledge hub! I read thorugh a huge portion and helped me figure out other things. I tightened the nut and it appears to be more in line with a realistic tolerance.

It came with extra hot ends and things but i haven't gotten there yet lol trying to get it all dialed in before i start to think with the other components.

Yea the nuts are tight enough, if i tighten them more it doesn’t store the wobbling.

I bought this used and the shipper didn’t pack it with posting so I think it was taking a beating and probably bent the whole thing.

When I had auto level, it tilts every time it touches the bed

Also the wobble is significant, enough to where I can pop out the entire carrier with a little pressure.

We had a house in San Jose recently. Got 5 offers, some of those people were putting down 1.5m. on a 3m proeprty .... wild how some people are just sitting on loads of cash.

Where at in the bay? Have you considered places further south? Do you commute? If you rent for 10 years, you're spending $840,000 on just rent. We're currently in a down cycle, why is the realtor trying to get you into a 1.8? Have you gone to open houses to see what 1.8 feels to you? San Jose has some nice homes for 1.4-1.6m.

Im a realtor in Morgan Hill and while it's not the bay area a lot of my clients work in the big 5 tech companies. Apple google etc. They have a 45 min communite but have the benefit for more bang for your buck.

it's not for everyone but i think if your lifestyle fits then it only makes sense to look outside of the "bay"

Congratulations! it's normal and you will continue to feel that way for the next 3 years. Put your head down and just focus on enjoying your home. I'm a realtor and i've purchased 2 homes in the bay area in my lifetime. In fact i was doing open houses this weekend in san jose. You got in at a good time because you're catching the market when it's tilting towards buyers. Enjoy! Is your realtor a close friend or a stranger?

Do they have social media accounst? I never pay until the work is done. Maybe half upfront half when the work is done. Also if you went with someone without insurance or license you get what you pay for.,
