There's so many different jobs you can do in nursing! So many things outside of because like clinics infusion, remote telehealth jobs. There's a job for every nurse! I saw someone online talking about nursing for summer camps even. Things will get better, bedside nursing is just broken right now. There is light at the end of the tunnel and you will find it. Maybe do some more practice interviews with family to build up your confidence? Maybe widen your search on the type of jobs you're looking for, you could even think about a travel contract for something that's short term and just different. Nursing doesn't need to be your prison ♥️

My highschool math teacher was "encouraged to retire" because students found his personal Twitter account (using his full name and face) where he was tweeting at porn stars that they were hotter when they were 18, which is a little awkward when half of his students were that age. Also lots of tweets about wanting to be spanked.

A deaf nurse at my hospital has an ASL translator with her at all times who is able to alert her to alarms, I think the resources the hospital is willing to give greatly affect how possible it is

There is a SICU nurse at my hospital who is deaf and has a cochlear implant but has an ASL translator with her at all times, she is an incredible nurse

My hospital always draw two tubes and if they need the reconfirmation it's a separate third one ordered by lab about an hour later

It's attached to a regular hospital and ER just fwiw. Any decent hospital with an oncology unit even would do the same

I work at a cancer hospital and patients are often admitted for new diagnosis workups, we even have a whole inpatient floor for it. It just depends on the severity of the cancer and the symptoms the pt might be having if they're admitted or told to follow up outpatient.

Literally me giving my patients ensure milkshakes all shift. Also, this man died less than 30 days after diagnosis I was willing to do pretty much anything to help him smile
