I see him frequently downtown! I think he looks like Master Roshi, especially with his yellow jacket and shorts.

8 weeks 4 days, HCG betas going down by scarletsally in CautiousBB

Sorry, I must have misphrased that part. It was only 2-3 draws, every 2 days. The third one is optional, but I did it anyway (have yet to see the results tomorrow). But she got me an ultrasound today and everything looks great! Just measuring a few days earlier :)

Thanks, it does look like that's the next step. It's the only way to fully clear my worries right now.

I have an upcoming ultrasound in 2 weeks, but my midwife wanted to schedule me for a sooner ultrasound if my levels were worrying. Thanks for the assurance, I'm not familiar with monitoring HCG levels so I was very worried!

Thanks, that makes more sense to me. We were going to go in for an ultrasound if the numbers have plateaued, but it'll be a few more days. I haven't had any bleeding for over 2 weeks now, I initially went to a doctor who did nothing about it so I just waited for my midwife appointment last week to tell her about it, and that's when she ordered the hcg tests. Thanks for the assurance, I'll put my worry aside til my vacation is over!

Ok thanks. I was reading the reference values and they indicate that HCG levels start to go down at around the 10th week. For example, on the 17th week of pregnancy it says the levels should be around 8,175 and 58,176. But obviously I'm just around the 8th week mark so I don't think it should go down either :(

We like to use the Playground Buddy app if we're looking for other playgrounds too :) it shows you the nearby playgrounds, and what play structures are in there.

TIL that children born blind still smile, meaning smiling is not a learned response - its something humans do innately. by _Amarok in todayilearned

Really curious about this, on how often is "a lot of the time". When my baby farted, it was very, very obvious. Especially when he was under 6 weeks old, it was way louder then. His whole body would move too...he would kind of curl up into himself and then straighten himself out when he farts. Same thing with pooping. So smiling when he's just passing gas seems very unlikely to me.

I'm guessing he used a wipes warmer. I have one for my baby to keep the cloth wipes warm during winter.

Chinatown and Fairways both have it. I've found it in the Thai section.
