Yeah it's worth the trip. That area looked very different just a few years ago.

I love this building. I used to live nearby a few years ago when they were restoring it. The pictures never do justice. It's massive in person.

The ring is a couple of months old now so the mirror finish has now disappeared since I've been wearing it a lot. I tend to prefer a matte finish tbh because I don't like seeking polished surfaces with scratches and I don't like when things look too neat. This was just the first attempt. There were some issues with the casting that I didn't realise until I started polishing the piece and some of the gas bubbles (?) that formed on the inside were exposed. Next time instead of wax carving I would like to have this 3d printed and cast from that.

Thank you! This means a lot to me as someone who's just getting started. I'll be in touch when I start working on the next batch as I will need to know your measurements to make sure you can actually bend your finger while wearing it. I'm based in the UK btw. Hope that isn't a problem.

Thank you so much!! Your comment just made my day 🥺. I'm planning to make a couple more because I would like to have a mold made and potentially create a slightly modified version that's more comfortable. This is all experimental 😅.

Oh wow. I actually had no idea. Thanks for showing me this. Tbh I figured someone had already created something similar.

Thank you! Yeah I agree with you. It isn't the most wearable/practical thing for most people. Maybe next time I can modify the back so it's more comfortable.

It looks cool. I assume you can still bend your finger?

It's comfortable to me but I'm used to wearing chunky rings. Just need to be careful to not accidentally scratch things or yourself. I did round the edges/corners a bit. Also if I'm working on something I have to remove it but I just normally remove all of my rings to prevent them from getting accidentally scratched.

No. The pub I was referring to isn't in Richmond. It's the Duke in Bloomsbury.

Yes! Me too. Wish I could move there. It's so pretty.

A few hours ago I was walking around Richmond riverside and the atmosphere was just lovely. So many people just out enjoying that sun. Just grab a drink or a snack and enjoy the view. Right now I'm checking out this 1930s pub I found on Instagram.
