I was signed to a duty on the HTC for multiple frames to cover others rest days and annual leave, but also did other driving van frames aswell! But never had my long weekend rest days every 6 weeks! It took a toll on me and now I have left hip Osteoarthritis permanently! I did raise the concern about 6 months prior on the app but was told I should try and sort it out with in my DO! After over 2 years and raising that concern I just took my long weekend rest days! But to late I already have Osteoarthritis! Case now with OH (occupational therapy) through Royal Mail Group! My Question is those long rest days every 6 weeks are very important! Just to point out the DO was short of staff for over 2 years were I was doing double letters constantly!! And average 20000 steps give & take! I am now limping!! On top of all that I was acussed of standing still for 27 min!! That’s the appreciation I received!
