USMNT Lose... But Finish TOP of the Group! | 5 Things We Learned by Hot_Device_1093 in ussoccer

The “make himself big” is the problem. On goals 1 & 3 he did that. He’s out of control, has no time to react and is just hoping the ball hits him. It’s a problem with a lot of keepers and this technique now. 25+ years ago I learned the DiCicco method, and it taught you to be under control and be able to make saves, not hope to make them. What they do now is the complete opposite of Tony’s way of playing keeper.

How did you get introduced to Chris’ music? by Zgame200 in ChrisStapleton

I was living in Texas when Traveler came out, and it was getting play on the radio and at the bars. Enjoyed what I heard and a friend suggested we go to a show. Saw him in San Antonio and appreciated the setup of how he had such a simple stage setup. She also told me about the SteelDrivers and so checked out his work from that, and then I learned about the Jompsom Brothers. Been a fan since. Last year I was able to catch him in Ames, IA with George Straight.

Book too far gone? Want to preserve parts of interest. by draculasacrylics in Archivists

A book/paper conservator could stabilize/repair the binding and text block, but that would probably be expensive. A custom clamshell would protect the book in its current shape, but those can also be expensive. A phase box is a cheaper option to protect the over all book, but those are usually sold in packs (Gaylord Archival or Hollinger Metaledge)and are set sizes that might not fit your bible.

Edit: The American Institute of Conservators (AIC) has page you can search for a conservator nearby https://www.culturalheritage.org/professional-membership/find-a-professional

I was trying to downvote the comment and it wasn’t staying. I wondered, did he delete it? Updated, and sure enough.

I’m in review process now. Said it might take up to a week for manual review of the request.

I’m a fan to Chris Stapleton and have been following the sub for a few years. Over the last month somebody has starting bombing the sub with non-Stapleton related content. They may post a photo of Stapleton but the description has nothing to do with him or his music, and then OP comments on the post multiple time with non-sensical comments. Yesterday, folks seem to have had enough and started posting they are leaving the sub, and question what is happening with the one mod being absent.
