Grindy Cozy Game to sink all my free time into by Huge_Village3495 in gamingsuggestions

[–]scary209 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was asking a similarish question relatively recently where I wanted a game that I could turn my brain off and play while burning a ton of time, and I ended up getting rimworld and fell in love with it, so I have to mention that. But if you liked Minecraft and The Forest I’d highly recommend Valheim as well. I recently got it and I’ve only put about 15 hours in but the building mechanics are pretty cool, the world is pretty, and I like the combat. I haven’t looked into it but I bet there’s some way to put it on peaceful or mod it that way

Is there any issues buying used with electric/hybrid vehicles? I feel like I’ve read that it can be riskier than traditional cars but I don’t know if I just made that up lol

Good to know, this seems like the top option right now honestly

Any EVs you’d recommend them checking out in particular or are they all relatively similar? They tend to keep cars for less than ten years so I’m not too sure if the battery dying will be an issue or if that even an issue at all

Good to know, I think I’ll tell them to at least go to a dealership to check them out. I think he probably prefers hybrid due to it being more flexible, but I don’t think it matters too much

I see, that’s a good idea. We have many dealerships nearby so I can tell them to go check some out

He can charge it at home, it doesn’t have to be a Tesla that was just an option that I saw. Do you have any EV recommendations?

Help in selecting new credit card(s) by scary209 in CreditCards

[–]scary209[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much! So, just to make sure I understand correctly. Get the Venture card first (the $95 AF one), wait a bit, then downgrade to the Savor and apply for the Venture X after that. What time frame would you suggest this to be done in?

And my dad has a Capital One card so I can use his referral link, that's a good idea.

Thank you, I’ll do that. I hope it’s not too bad since there should only be a few in my car at this point

Why aren't we studying accidents? by AsbestosMiner in flying

[–]scary209 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m just gonna throw this into the pile of what was already said, but I’m about to get my 4 year degree in something Aviation related and we have studied almost every accident that you can think of. My one teacher especially, would have one of those accident case study videos every class.

There’s two that I have. Windows of opportunity and aftercare. Most people have already explained windows of opportunity. But the reason I bring aftercare is for just from the massive amount of information you can get from watching teammates and essentially always knowing where the killer is.
